Clinic Hours

Office Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Mondays to Fridays

NEW Patients are seen in the morning (8 am), and FOLLOW-UP Patients/Old Cases are seen in the afternoon (1 pm).

A 'New Patient' is a patient that has not had a record under the Department of Dermatology before, regardless of previous hospital records. A 'Follow-Up/Old Case' is a patient who has been seen by a resident of the Department of Dermatology and scheduled to come back on a certain date, or a patient who has been seen previously and is seeking consult for an old or new problem.

All patients will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to line up early! Registration starts as early as 7 am in the morning.

Biopsy Results

If you have had a biopsy done within the Department of Dermatology, you have been given a follow-up date with the time of follow-up written on your hospital card. The time and date of follow up are important, and it is highly advised that you obtain the results in person so that you may be better evaluated.

Patch Testing

A Patch Test is a test to check for various CONTACT allergies, or allergies to items that touch your skin. At JRRMMC, our Patch Testing schedule is on Mondays or Tuesdays. You will be asked to follow up twice within the working week to check the results. For more information, please go to the Contact Dermatitis section.

Dermatologic Surgery

Schedules for the surgical procedures are made by your physician after you have been examined. The procedure may or may not be done on the same day of consult, depending on the number of patients and the urgency of the case. The schedules  are also on a first-come, first-serve basis for the day, so be sure to arrive early on the time and date written in your hospital card!
